Generation Leather Duffle

To create a leather that’s lighter, more waterproof and more sustainable, we worked with a tannery in the Netherlands to reinvent the way leather is tanned and used. We started with a calfskin leather from northern Europe – the best hides we can find and a farming byproduct.

We use a tanning technology that uses only the water in the hide, minimising waste water and chemical use. The result is a buttery smooth leather that feels like no other. Light yet tough, it acquires a beautiful patina over time.

We add waterproofing during the tanning process, so it permeates the entire hide of leather. This means the leather stays waterproof, unlike leathers with a waterproof coating that wears off over time. And when you touch the leather, you always feel the leather.

For supremely comfortable hands-free carrying, there’s a detachable, non-slip padded shoulder strap, which stretches to eliminate pressure points. Designed to protect your shoulders, back and posture when you’re on the move.
